...April 26, 2024 NEW YORK (S&P Global Ratings) April 26, 2024--S&P Global Ratings removed its ratings on six local governments in Pennsylvania (see list below) from CreditWatch, where they were placed with negative implications on March 6, 2024. The ratings are unchanged and the outlook on Lackawanna County, Pa.'s ratings is negative, as it was prior to the CreditWatch placement. The outlook on the rest of the ratings is stable. "The removal from CreditWatch reflects our receipt and review of financial information, including 2022 financial statements, from these issuers," said S&P Global Ratings credit analyst Matthew Martin. "Following our review of the updated financial information, our long-term rating on these issuers is unchanged," Mr. Martin added.
